Sarah Ortiz Benson is a retired military spouse and writer with a background in nursing, marketing, and sales. Her passion is writing about current events and issues affecting military spouses and their families.

She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of South Florida. Sarah has lived on islands in Hawaii, Jamaica, Alaska, and The Bahamas. She currently resides outside of Houston, Texas with her family.
